Earth (TBD) is an absolutely massive work for large wind ensemble, composed as part of the 2017-18 University of Toronto Composer in Residence program and premiered by the UofT Wind Ensemble under the direction of Gillian MacKay. The TBD in this case stands for "to be determined", as we may not be the only namers of this world we live on. Each movement deals with a particular aspect of the Earth, ranging from the tumultous core to the busy surface, and even viewed from afar as a pale blue dot.
